This is the final version of my video. I have changed few frames and added an audio. The timing of the audio fits well with the frames. Compared to the first video I made which sounded robotic and it didn’t blend well together. The final video is shorter than what I planned out. However, the purpose of the movement comes across fine and I covered some few points which I’m happy with it.
In addition, the effects and fonts I think they all go well and some of the effects in After Effects is very playful and animated, it wouldn’t look right with a information video. There’s so many different effects and I used a few of them. Especially started off the vidoe with typewriter which adds an effect of texting and slowly reveals the movement. The colour I chose as the background I think it’s energetic and with black text it stands out. The 2 animations I created I think it looks good with the movement and explains the movement. Frame 3 has a movement and audio of Iphone text note. I developed my idea from just a text symbol to an someone holding a phone with text notifications coming through.
I think this project was challenging but it taught me a lot of new skills. I have more knowledge on After Effects to how I started with. Also, this is benefitial for my future projects. I faced some problems during the project such as working with after effects tools and audio recording. Audio recording was very confusing and I had to watch some tutorials on how to make the voice smoother and sound better.
