Letterpress workshop was very important and useful because I never printed with those machines and it was a good experience. I used different types of fonts to create word ‘futurism’ and ‘type and image’. We were given instructions on how to use the letter press machines and the safety rules. In addition, I created few prints using red and black ink then layered them using tracing paper. They all turned out well and preparing the print using all the lead and tools were very complex. Letter press will be very useful to experimenting when I’m using typography designing posters.
